Most importantly, we believe it’s the right thing to do. CSR now plays a role in many decisions we make at Scotiabank, from how we choose our suppliers to how we evaluate the risk and opportunities associated with lending to our corporate banking customers.
Every year we add to our foundation of CSR by developing innovative, locally based initiatives and bringing them to life through the efforts and enthusiasm of our own employees. Our employees spend thousands of hours each year volunteering and fundraising for activities that further benefit from Scotiabank’s matching programmes and annual corporate donations.
