The following definitions apply to these Terms and Conditions:

·       “Cardholder” means the primary cardholder of an Eligible credit card.

·       “Promotional Period” refers to the period from October 26, 2026 to December 20, 2026, inclusive.

·       “Promotion” refers to this promotion and not any of Scotiabank’s other promotions or programs.

·       “Eligible” refers to qualification to participate by opening a new Eligible credit card during the Promotional Period. Opening a Scotia Plan Loan, Mortgage, Switch Mortgage or Deposit Account without also opening an Eligible credit card does not qualify a client to participate in the Promotion or win a Prize.

·       “Additional Eligible Product” means a new Scotia Plan Loan, Mortgage, Switch Mortgage or Deposit Account opened during the Promotional Period by a Cardholder who has also opened an Eligible credit card during the Promotional Period. An Additional Eligible Product generates additional Digital Entries only and does not independently qualify a client for the Promotion or a Prize.

·       “Eligible credit card” refers only to a new Scotiabank retail Mastercard credit card. Small Business, Commercial and Corporate credit cards are excluded from this Promotion.

·       “Registered Card Purchase” refers to any card-not-present purchase made using the eligible credit card through a merchant, digital wallet, application, website or other platform where the Cardholder’s eligible credit card must first be registered or stored to facilitate the purchase. This applies to purchases made with both local and foreign vendors.

·       “Minimum Spend Requirement” refers to the predetermined minimum transaction amount in the table below, which must be met by making eligible purchases using the Eligible Credit Card.

·       "Purchases" means any retail, internet, phone or mail order purchase or Point of Sale transaction using an Eligible credit card.

·       “Eligible Purchases/transactions” means a Purchase made using an Eligible credit card during the Promotional Period, excluding returns, credits, refunds, reversals, cash advances, balance transfers, fees, interest, bank charges and fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.

·       “Digital Entry” means an electronic entry earned by a Cardholder during the Promotional Period by opening an Eligible credit card, opening an Additional Eligible Product, making an Eligible Purchase that meets or exceeds the applicable Minimum Spend Requirement, or completing a Registered Card Purchase, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

·       “Good Standing” means that the relevant account is active, is not overlimit or past due by any amount, and is not blocked, frozen, reported lost or stolen, fraudulently obtained, written off or otherwise restricted at the applicable verification time.

·       “Prize” means one (1) Alaska Cruise Experience travel package described in these Terms and Conditions.

·       “Travel Package” means a nine (9)-night, ten (10)-day trip for the winning Cardholder and one (1) guest from July 19, 2027 to July 28, 2027, including an eight (8)-night Alaska voyage aboard Luminara, part of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, sailing roundtrip from Vancouver, Canada, together with the included air, hotel, transfer, baggage, insurance, dining and other components stated below.

·       “Draw Venue & Time” means the electronic prize draw to be conducted on Tuesday, January 26, 2027 at 11:00 a.m. at the Scotiabank Marketing Department.

·       “Scotiabank or Bank” means Scotiabank Guyana Inc.

This Promotion is open to legal residents of Guyana who are 21 years of age or older. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of Guyana.

How to Participate

·       To be eligible for the Promotion and the Prize, a client must open a new Eligible credit card during the Promotional Period. The Eligible credit card must remain open, active and in Good Standing through the draw and prize-verification process.

·       Once the client has opened an Eligible credit card during the Promotional Period, the Cardholder may earn additional Digital Entries by opening an Additional Eligible Product and/or by conducting qualifying Eligible Purchases or transactions using the Eligible credit card during the Promotional Period.

·       Opening only a Scotia Plan Loan, Mortgage, Switch Mortgage or Deposit Account without also opening an Eligible credit card during the Promotional Period does not qualify a client to participate in the Promotion or win a Prize.

·       Digital Entries will be rewarded as follows:

The fifty (50) Digital Entries for the Eligible credit card will be awarded once for each new Eligible credit card opened by the primary Cardholder during the Promotional Period, subject to the account satisfying all applicable eligibility requirements.

Digital Entries for an Additional Eligible Product will only be awarded for each Additional Eligible Product opened, where the client also opens an Eligible credit card during the Promotional Period.

Digital Entries for Eligible Purchases

During the Promotional Period, a Cardholder will receive one (1) Digital Entry for each individual Eligible Purchase made using

the Eligible credit card that meets or exceeds the applicable Minimum Spend Requirement shown below:

·       The Minimum Spend Requirement applies to each individual Eligible Purchase. Separate Eligible Purchases will not be combined or aggregated to meet the Minimum Spend Requirement. In addition, a Cardholder will receive five (5) Digital Entries for each Registered Card Purchase completed during the Promotional Period. No minimum transaction amount applies to the five (5) Registered Card Purchase entries.

·       A single Eligible Purchase may qualify for more than one entry category. Where a Registered Card Purchase also meets or exceeds the applicable country’s Minimum Spend Requirement, the Cardholder will receive one (1) Digital Entry for meeting the Minimum Spend Requirement and five (5) Digital Entries for the Registered Card Purchase, for a total of six (6) Digital Entries for that transaction.

Example for generating Digital Entries through new products:

If a client opens one (1) new Eligible credit card during the Promotional Period, the client will receive fifty

(50) Digital Entries and will become eligible for the Prize draw, subject to all other Terms and Conditions. If the same

Cardholder also opens one (1) Mortgage or Switch Mortgage, one (1) Deposit Account and one (1) Scotia Plan Loan during the

Promotional Period, the Cardholder will receive an additional thirty (30) Digital Entries for the Mortgage or Switch

Mortgage, twenty (20) Digital Entries for the Deposit Account and twenty (20) Digital Entries for the Scotia Plan Loan. The

Cardholder will therefore receive a total of one hundred and twenty (120) Digital Entries from the qualifying products.

There is no limit to the number of Digital Entries a Cardholder may receive, provided the Cardholder first opens an Eligible credit card and each additional entry is earned through either a separate qualifying Additional Eligible Product opened during the Promotional Period and/or by the Cardholder conducting qualifying Eligible purchases or transactions using the Eligible credit card. A Scotia Plan Loan, Mortgage, Switch Mortgage or Deposit Account, however, only generates additional Digital Entries when opened by a Cardholder who also opens an Eligible credit card during the Promotional Period.

A Cardholder may win only once in the Promotion.

Prize Draw

·       One (1) Cardholder will be selected as the winner in this Promotion by automated random draw from the electronic customer database containing qualifying Digital Entries, subject to the country allocation stated below. A Cardholder may win only once in the Promotion.

·       Ten (10) backup winners will be selected.

·       Backup winners will be selected separately for each participating country and will be used in the order drawn only if a selected winner is disqualified, cannot be contacted, declines the Prize, fails to comply with the verification or acceptance requirements, or otherwise forfeits the Prize.

·       The draw will be conducted no later than January 26, 2027 by Scotiabank’s Regional Product, Finance and Marketing teams at the Draw Venue & Time.

Prize Information

·       The winner will receive one (1) Travel Package for the winner and one (1) guest, for a total of two (2) persons.

·       The winning Cardholder must be one (1) of the two (2) travelers. The winner and guest must each be 21 years of age or older and legal residents of a participating country.

·       The approximate value of each Travel Package is USD$50,000.

·       The Travel Package will take place from July 19, 2027 to July 28, 2027. The winner and guest must be available to travel for the full nine (9)-night, ten (10)-day itinerary.

·       The Travel Package must be accepted as awarded, is not transferable, is not redeemable for cash or credit and may not be resold. Any unused portion is forfeited and is not redeemable for cash or any other form of credit.

The Travel Package includes:

·       Two (2) round-trip economy-class air tickets departing from the participating country’s airport to Vancouver, Canada.

·       Private transfers for the winner and guest from Vancouver International Airport to the hotel, from the hotel to the cruise pier, from the cruise pier to the hotel after disembarkation, and from the hotel to Vancouver International Airport.

·       One (1) night’s accommodation at a hotel in Vancouver in one (1) double-occupancy room before the cruise.

·       One (1) standard checked bag of up to 23 kg and one (1) carry-on bag per person, subject to the selected airline’s rules.

·       Travel insurance for the winner and guest, subject to the applicable policy terms, conditions and exclusions.

·       The Alaska voyage aboard Luminara, part of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, sailing roundtrip from Vancouver, Canada. r.

·       Meals, snacks and beverages included as part of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s applicable onboard and ashore dining service.

·       One (1) welcome kit with selected gifts.

·       Travel duration and dates:

·       The Travel Package is nine (9) nights and ten (10) days, from July 19, 2027 to July 28, 2027.

·       July 19, 2027: Arrival in Vancouver, Canada; airport-to-hotel transfer; one (1) pre-cruise night at a five-star hotel; hotel check-in and group dinner.

·       July 20 to July 28, 2027: Eight (8)-night roundtrip Alaska voyage aboard Luminara, embarking and disembarking in Vancouver, Canada.

·       July 28, 2027: Disembarkation in Vancouver; transfer to Vancouver International Airport and departure.

·       Voyage route and ports: Vancouver roundtrip, with calls at Ketchikan, Klawock, Wrangell, Sitka and Prince Rupert, and scenic cruising through Tracy Arm Fjord and the Gulf of Alaska. The itinerary is described as six (6) ports when Vancouver is included as the embarkation and disembarkation port.

·       Day-by-day voyage experience: board Luminara in Vancouver; sail the Gulf of Alaska; visit Ketchikan near Misty Fjords National Monument; visit Klawock and Klawock Totem Park; visit Wrangell; visit Sitka; sail Tracy Arm Fjord; visit Prince Rupert; and return through the Gulf of Alaska to Vancouver.

·       Accommodation: one (1) double-occupancy room for the winner and guest for the one Vancouver hotel night, together with cruise accommodation in one (1) suite or stateroom assigned by the travel provider.

·       Onboard inclusions: applicable onboard meals, snacks and beverages; in-suite dining; high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi; access to the fitness centre, wellness classes and Marina Beach leisure activities, subject to availability and the cruise operator’s applicable rules.

·       Itinerary changes: ports, sailing times, activities, hotels, carriers and other itinerary components may be changed by the travel or cruise provider due to operational requirements, availability, weather, safety or circumstances outside the Bank’s reasonable control, subject to applicable law and required regulatory approval.

·       Access to the travel provider’s designated travel-assistance channels and digital itinerary platform during the Travel Package, subject to the provider’s applicable availability and terms.

Eligibility

·       This Promotion is open to legal residents of Guyana who are 21 years of age or older and who open a new Eligible credit card during the Promotional Period. A Scotia Plan Loan, Mortgage, Switch Mortgage or Deposit Account does not independently qualify a client to participate in the Promotion or win a Prize.

·       Once eligible, a Cardholder may earn additional Digital Entries by making Eligible Purchases that meet or exceed the applicable country’s Minimum Spend Requirement and by completing Registered Card Purchases during the Promotional Period.

·       Employees of the Bank, its parent company, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, their immediate family members (eg. Parents, children, spouse, siblings) and persons living in the same household as any such employee are not eligible.

·       The Eligible credit card and each Additional Eligible Product used to generate Digital Entries must remain active and in Good Standing from account opening through the draw, verification and award process.

·       A Cardholder is ineligible if the relevant account is blocked, frozen, closed, delinquent, written off, reported lost or stolen, fraudulently obtained or otherwise restricted.

·       Returns, credits, refunds, reversals, cash advances, balance transfers, fees, interest charges, bank charges, disputed transactions and fraudulent or unauthorized transactions do not qualify as Eligible Purchases and will not generate Digital Entries.

·       Only the primary Cardholder may participate in the Promotion or receive a Prize.

·       Only the primary account holder may be selected as a winner.

Winner Notification and Prize Acceptance

·       Scotiabank will make up to three (3) attempts to notify each selected winner by telephone using the contact information in the Bank’s records within five (5) days following the draw date.

·       After telephone notification, the selected winner must provide proof of age, valid national identification, proof of ownership of the qualifying Eligible credit card and a signed Affidavit of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance and Release within three (3) business days of the email notification.

·       If a selected winner cannot be contacted, declines the Prize or fails to satisfy the verification and acceptance requirements, the selection will be void and a backup winner may be contacted in the order drawn.

·       At the time of being notified of the Prize, the winner and the intended guest must each hold a passport valid for at least six (6) months beyond the confirmed travel dates and must satisfy all visa, entry, vaccination, health and travel requirements. Proof of required visas must be provided by March 31, 2027, or by any earlier date communicated by the Bank.

·       The winner must hold a valid credit card in the winner’s name for hotel and shipboard security deposits and incidental charges.

·       Once travel details for the winner and guest have been submitted and ticketed, changes are not permitted.

Exclusions from the Travel Package: Costs and Expenses to be Borne by the Winner

·       Transportation between the winner’s or guest’s residence and the applicable departure airport.

·       Passport, visa, travel-document, courier, vaccination and medical-assistance costs.

·       Airline, hotel, cruise or transportation changes requested by the winner or guest, including change fees and fare differences.

·       Additional baggage, upgrades, airport charges, taxes or surcharges not expressly included.

·       Long-distance calls, room service, laundry, mini-bar items, loss of or damage to hotel or cruise property and other incidental charges.

·       Transportation, meals, activities and personal expenses outside the scheduled Travel Package.

·       Tips and gratuities, unless expressly included.

·       Translation services and any item, service or expense not specifically stated as included.

·       In the event of cancellation of an event or activity forming part of the Travel Package, the Bank will not be liable for a refund or compensation beyond any substitute arrangement approved by the applicable gaming authority.

·       If the winner or guest cannot travel on the confirmed dates or cannot satisfy passport, visa, entry or other travel requirements by the deadlines communicated by the Bank, the Prize will be forfeited and may be offered to a backup winner.

·       Any activity, item or expense not specifically stated as included in the Travel Package.

·       Additional meals, spa treatments, premium or specialty services, purchases, paid shore excursions and other onboard or ashore charges not expressly included.

·       Sightseeing tours, shore excursions and destination activities not specifically listed as included in the final confirmed Travel Package.

·       Connecting flights or other transportation from the winner’s home city to the applicable departure gateway airport, unless expressly included in the final confirmed Travel Package.

Consumer Disclosure

·       By participating, the Cardholder consents to the Bank using the Cardholder’s information for the lawful administration of the Promotion.

·       The Bank may provide personal information supplied by a winner and guest to affiliates, authorities, agents, prize suppliers, travel providers and other service providers assisting with fulfillment of the Prize.

·       The winners’ names may be published in the media. By accepting a Prize, each winner agrees to the use of the winner’s name and photograph for Promotion-related publicity without further compensation, subject to applicable law and required approvals.

·       The winner and guest may be required to sign a General Release & Waiver and Image Release as a condition of receiving the Prize.

·       The Bank is not responsible for changes, delays, cancellations or unavailability caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control. Where permitted and subject to required regulatory approval, the Bank may substitute a prize component with one of equal or greater value.

·       Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

·       In all matters relating to this Promotion, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding in all respects, subject to the approval of the relevant gaming authorities if applicable.

·       Scotiabank has the right to exclude any individual from this Promotion in its absolute discretion without any obligation to provide notice or reason, subject to prior approval from the relevant gaming authorities if applicable.

·       Scotiabank reserves the right in its absolute discretion to vary these Terms and Conditions or change, suspend or withdraw this Promotion subject to prior approval from the relevant gaming authorities if applicable.

·       In the event of a dispute, the Bank’s decision is final, subject to the approval of the relevant gaming authorities if applicable.

·       These Terms and Conditions apply only to this Promotion and do not apply to any other Scotiabank promotion or program.
